Terms and conditions

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") apply to the Casino du Lac-Leamy Forfait Programme (the "Programme"), which offers packages combining accommodation, dining, spa access, and gaming credits at the Casino du Lac-Leamy in Gatineau, Quebec, Canada.

DEFINITIONS

In these Terms, "we", "us" or "our" refers to Loto-Québec, the operator of the casino; "you" means any person who participates in the Programme; and "Forfait Package" means a package offered by us that includes accommodation, dining, spa access, and gaming credits.

ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

By booking a Forfait Package or participating in the Programme, you acknowledge and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not accept these Terms, please do not book a Forfait Package or participate in the Programme.

PROGRAMME PARTICIPATION

To participate in the Programme, you must be at least 18 years old (or the minimum age required under provincial law) and provide valid identification upon request by us. You may only book one Forfait Package per person for each stay.

FORFAIT PACKAGE DETAILS

Each Forfait Package includes accommodation at a designated hotel room, dining credit redeemable against meals at specified restaurants, spa access with treatments as indicated, and gaming credits to be used on the casino floor. Please note that availability of certain amenities may be limited during peak periods or special events.

PAYMENT TERMS

You must pay in full for your Forfait Package upon booking by providing valid payment information. We reserve the right to charge fees associated with payment processing and any applicable taxes.

GAMING CREDITS

Gaming credits are redeemable only on the casino floor at the designated time indicated on your package details. Credits cannot be used to purchase items from retail stores or participate in poker tournaments. Any unused gaming credit balance will expire after 24 hours following redemption, unless otherwise specified by us.

RESERVATIONS AND CANCELLATION

To ensure availability of Forfait Packages, reservations must be made at least prior to your planned stay date. You may cancel or modify a reservation. Failure to cancel on time will result in charges for the full amount of the original booking.

PERSONAL DATA

We collect personal data (including, but not limited to, name, contact information and payment details) for purposes related to the Programme, including marketing communications about our services. We comply with applicable data protection regulations and take reasonable steps to ensure the security of your personal data.

SECURITY AND FAIR PLAY

Our gaming activities are subject to strict regulatory requirements and designed to provide a fair chance of winning based on probability. Random Number Generators (RNGs) for electronic games meet recognized testing frameworks and standards. Physical table games are dealt within monitored environments, ensuring compliance with provincial regulations.

RESPONSIBLE GAMBLING FEATURES

We implement robust responsible gaming measures in accordance with Canadian regulatory requirements, including self-exclusion programs and tools to help manage risk.

PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES

You must not engage in or facilitate any prohibited activity on the casino floor, including money laundering, cheating or tampering with games. Failure to comply may result in disciplinary action, fines or penalties under provincial law.

CHANGES TO TERMS AND PROGRAMME OPERATIONS

We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Programme operations at any time without prior notice. Changes will be effective upon posting on our website or by such other means as we determine necessary.

GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with Quebec law, applicable provincial regulations, and the laws of Canada.

ENTIRE AGREEMENT

This document represents the entire agreement between you and us regarding participation in the Programme, and supersedes all prior or contemporaneous agreements, written or oral.

DISPUTE RESOLUTION

If a dispute arises out of or relates to these Terms, it shall be resolved through negotiations between us in good faith within 30 days following the occurrence giving rise to such dispute. If unresolved, any such disputes will be determined by arbitration in accordance with Quebec law and provincial regulations.

AMENDMENTS

These Terms may only be amended by written consent from an authorized representative of Loto-Québec.

INVALIDITY

If any provision or part thereof is deemed invalid or unenforceable under applicable law, the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected and in full force and effect.

NOTICES

We will provide reasonable notice to you for amendments, changes or other communications related to these Terms. You agree that electronic communication (including email) constitutes written notice under this Agreement.

ACKNOWLEDGMENT

By booking a Forfait Package or participating in the Programme, you acknowledge reading and understanding these Terms and Conditions. If you have any questions about these Terms, please contact us prior to your planned stay date for clarification before making your reservation.
